Nirmithi Kendra has evolved intensive training programmers at various levels in order to create trained man power for better efficiency and skills. Nirmithi Kendra conducts large scale training programmers in different fields such as masonry, carpentry, plumbing electrification etc to develop the skill of workers, supervisory development, computer training etc. which penetrate into the full depth of the society in this district. The sanitary project implemented in 14 panchayats to have complete individual family sanitation system has been worked along with a training programme in which all the beneficiaries had been given training in perfect utilisation of the sanitation facilities. This one example alone speaks volumes about the depth of penetration to which this organization has successfully reached.

Nirmithi Kendra is also giving training opportunities to Engineers, Supervisors and Office Assistants and thus generating employment opportunities to hundreds of unemployed youth, both at the civil construction work and cost effective construction. Increased representation of women and weaker sections of society is a basic feature of this programme
 

Thrissur Nirmithi Kendra started off a training program in 1992 which uplifts the SCST and umemployed, Nirmithi Kendra is providing training in Masonary, Carpentry, Plumbing, Building Material manufacturing etc.,  In 2005, we can proudly say that more than 300 got benefited by our various programs.

Apart from this, we are also extending computer training.  From 1994 onwards, a computer training centre and a computer Park is functioning at the campus of Nirmithi Kendra.  Around 2000 individuals ( including SCST) got trained through this initiation.  We are concentrating on giving training mostly to SC candidates.  Around 432 candidates are going to get training in 3 categories under SGSY scheme.  Training also in Hollow concrete block making, water string technology, steel fabrication & building. Training period is 3 months

Admission to the regular courses is on first come first serve basis.  The candidate should possess the minimum qualification prescribed for  the course.  Short- term courses require minimum qualification specified by Nirmithi Kendra

Admission will be based on skill test.
Payment of fees

Fee for the regular courses will be collected in monthly installments.

Timing

The duration of class will be 2 Hrs ( Theory or Lab) between 8 am and 6 pm except on public holidays.

We are also offering Computers  for rent on hourly basis.
