In order to popularise the cost effective technology and to meet increasing demand for cost effective building materials, Thrissur Nirmithi Kendra has started a production centre where hollow concrete blocks,  concrete doors and window frames, rubble filler blocks, Ferro cement , cement water tanks, pre-cast thin lintels, sunshades, built-in wall units etc.  This Ferro cement technology is not only affordable but also durable, termite proof and free from maintenance.  These products are distributed to the public also.
