Nirmithi kendra, Thrissur is a Charitable Society registered
under Travancore Cochin Scientific Literary and Charitable
Society Act with District Collector as Chairman and Revenue
Divisional Officer as Secretary. The main objectives of the
Kendra is to propagate cost effective technology, conduct
training programmes and production of building components. The
Computer Centre of Nirmithi Kendra is established to
conduct the training programme. The performance of Nirmithi
Kendra in all its activities have widely been accepted and
appreciated. Thrissur Nirmithi Kendra had been awarded at
National level in 1995, 1997 & 1999 for its outstanding
performance.
The Computer Centre was established in 1994. Initially the
training was mainly imparted to those belonging to the weaker
section with the fund SCA - SCP. Later with the expansion and
upgradation of the Computer Centre, training is imparted
to general categories also. The details regarding the
courses being conducted are given below.

The Centre had also given training more than 1000 students in
various courses like Data entry Course, Diploma in Computer
Application, Short term Courses in various softwares and
Vacation Batch for High School Students. The centre had
also conducted training in Auto Cad for students from various
Govt. I.T.C and staff from different Govt. offices like Forest
Dept.
The duration of class will be 2 hrs. (Theory or Lab.)
between 8 a.m and 5 p.m except on public holidays. We
also offers weekend class( fullday) for School, College going
students and working people.
The Computer Centre is well equipped with latest hardwares and
latest softwares. Internet facility is also available.
Now the Centre is in a position to impart training in all
latest softwares for 400 students/day. The details are
